Where to find the date

The expiration date is printed by the manufacturer on the outer carton, and usually stamped on the individual bottles as well. It's typically shown as a month and year — meaning the product is considered good through the end of that month. Look on the end flap or the base of the carton, near the lot number.

Will an 18-month supply outlast its expiration date?

Usually not, if you start using it promptly. OTC drug products of this type generally carry a shelf life of around two to three years from manufacture, and cartons are typically sold well within that window.
